My first cheongsam

Attended my mentor’s wedding today and dressed in my very first Cheongsam! I made one abt 2 months back actually specially for Lin’s wedding next month. (She had a theme call Shanghai Bling), so there I went with a very good valid excuse for myself to make a cheongsam. :) Gals, we are good at justifying our spending.


My big boss brought me to this shop in Tanjong Pagar. Apparently they specialist in making cheongsam and they have many one off the ranks pieces. I looked around and spotted a Off-white piece which I felt instantly in love with the material. (I like the rose in-print, all off-white) So I selected that piece and made a major overhaul. I wanted a model cheongsam, so I had the tailor modified to cut a hole behind making it bareback! Haha.






So to make my spending more worth I wore it to my mentor’s wedding yesterday.


Ok back to the wedding, which I was supposed to talk about. …

It was fun. A pity that we didn’t take a company shot together. 2 of my other colleagues gave the couple a surprised performance. KG played the guitar and YC sang and made the couple dance on stage… It was so sweet and touching.

The highlight of the wedding was we all went up to the couple’s room for some “games”… it was one of the most happening one I attended so far. The games they plotted, were like first hand R-rated in a all dress-up way! Haha… it almost closed to simulated sex play.
