Are we sucker for good looks?
This is often the question we debate abt. I often asked myself this ....
“Can I date a ugly man? a fat man? a balding man? a short man?”
Often we jokingly bitch abt how shallow a man can be (although there's somewhat a little truth in it :P ), going for a gal with a pretty face, big boobs, long silky hair, long legs... But then again, we all know most men are visual animals, which clearly also explains why comics are often read by guys. Cos most of them rather see the story rather than forming it in their mind.
Ok I should not generalize here... cos most of us are in some ways sucker for looks too... it's just a matter of how much we can compromised for.
I have been asking myself this as well... I guessed I am not really really particular abt looks, all I asked for is just pleasant looking. Clean clear complexion is impt to me; oily face is a major turn off. I can trade good looks for presentation any day. I am a sucker for how well the person can carry himself. The way he speaks has to be confident with a certain type of air. (I do not need PERFECT English or someone who talks like a lawyer). Intelligent communication is impt, and when I mean intelligent I do not necessary means academically smart.
so do I see myself dating a man not within my standards?? … If yes… but to wat acceptance level? Am I shallow too in some ways... ??
