Parents back to school?

The daily topic during lunch hour has now revolved around to my colleagues' kids at school. It's amazing how much our education systems changes along the years. It now seems like the parents are more stressed than the kids themselves. There is certainly high level of parent's involvement in the kid's school activities than it was before, during my time. There are many meet the parent sessions, parents attending talks in school, volunteer works, parents attendance to sports day etc... !!! The school seems to forget that parents nowadays have a job and career to hold !

My 2 colleagues are stressed up with their kids’ homework, test, exam, and their daily activities. It’s like parents themselves going back to school. Haha…

At times I wonder if I'm up for it; Marriage and parenthood. I dun know if that is what I really want. Or do I want that becos it's only normal/usual process ?

Now that I have been single or alone for so long, can I adapt back to sharing a life with my partner? (I mean living together)... Well, no pt wondering cos I think one will never be ready, probably will only learned to be ready when the time comes.

Meanwhile, I am happy as I am now. My current new interest is golf. Starting my class next week. Hope I'm able to make it to the green in a month time.
