Our 1st Salsa Party

Wow we had lotsa yummy food, lotsa laughter, lotsa dancing, lotsa practices, lotsa bonding, lotsa fun, lotsa everything today!

I think our salsa party turned up great! Close to 40ple came. Not too bad for the first time. Think we should have more of such party in future!

Oh... my fav song..."no me ames" with Nick.

Becos there were fewer gals than guys, I think I really dance a lot. So much so my leg aches by the end of the nite. We started dancing abt 7pm almost non stop till 11pm.

Tried a little of my shoulder roll, and dance twice to my fav song, “No me ames”.

I was telling DK on the way back that it’s addictive. It’s like the more you dance, the more u want to do better, to perfect my move and add more styling and make my dance more groovy and sensual. But how to do that? I’m not too sure if by attending more class will help? Perhaps!

DK made a statement today, “ dun need to dance like performance team standard. It’s just a dance for the fun of it. If by perfecting it means stressing yourself over it, then it’s no longer relaxing and fun doing this past time…”

haha, he sums up my sentiments exactly. I think this is why I felt so at ease dancing with him.
