Cakes

Lately princess pinkie and me have this crazy craze to go ard hunting for good cakes and chocolates.

Yest nite, we met up after work for shopping, had dinner and went to Robertson Quay. We wanted to eat the Chouwa cake at Chocolate Factory but the place was closed by the time we got there. Still she managed to convinced the chef to sell us a piece. we had it by the river….. haha… talk abt only lovers do that?

After that we went on to Canele for more cakes…. We tried the strawberry shortcake. Yummy…. And my goodness, the selection of cakes there is beyond imagination…. Spoilt for choices. ================================>

Oh my new fre (mr dbs) joined us for dinner. Princess pinkie said he seems alrite. Well… we will see.

That was my first lesson! Lao shi taught us.... the importance of the "V" in the arm thru-out the swing 1.

I think this seems quite nice. My "V" is still there at the end of swing 2... plus i move my hips to the left at the end of swing 2.

That's my woods swing.... looks ok, but I need to maintain my "V" on my swing 2 finishing, and move my hips!!! damn.... i need to find my hips. haha

Multi-tasking

People often say that women can multi-task better than men? Is this true? hmmm...?!

Well for sure I know that we women can talk on the phone, paint our toe nails, watch tv, keep an eye on our younger siblings/ kids, and flipping thru magazines... Oh, I even saw some woman, driving and putting on their makeup/ curling their lashes, applying lipstick.... OR talking on the phone, reading and replying emails in the office. Phew...

Talk abt multi-task indeed. In that aspect I think we're a lot beta than most men. I think the best a man can handle multi-tasking is reading the paper while shitting. :P

Since women are good at multi-tasking, can we also "multi-dates"??

Meaning going out with several people we quite fancy? I don't know...

I think in that aspect we lose out to men. I think we're more focus when it comes to affairs of the heart. Just so happened to wonder on this for the past weeks so I actually asked ard a few of my gfs... I think we can only focus on one guy at a time; it's rather diff for us to date another or a few with the same type of feeling.

Well at least my gfs ard I am like tat too. But I have known guys who can be seeing many other gals at one go. When I say "seeing" or "dating" here, I mean just going out on a very regular basis not the very serious pak tor type yet.

One classic example is :
GF A: she has been going out with this guy for a while now... somehow the guy is not giving her a favorable answer to the r/s yet.... on the other hand she has other suitors who has been asking her out or texting her on a regular basis.... We conclude that nothing will ever turn out with other suitors cos she's not focus on those and her heart and mind is only just so occupied with one. so we have to dump one before we can move on to another. haha.

It's also like we can only have one "craving" at a time. Craving for foie gras can never be satisfied with other livers or food. It has to be that to gives you that fulfillment. Until that craving is solved/ or gone, we'll start to crave for others... ...

Too much energy to be home

I am now contemplating what I shd do later : (cos it seems I've too much energy to go home)

1) driving range ? dunno if it's a good idea since I have class tomw

2) solve my "craving" ? Not too in favor for this unless it was an "invitation". I have been thinking abt this for past few days but I am just not gonna do anything. It's afterall a craving, maybe I shd just kick it.

3) shd I meet this fre for dinner? but knowing me, I hate dinner dates, esp so with ple I'm not to familiar with.

4) OR home.

Black hair is IN.

I color my hair super duper BLACK over the weekend on sat !!! So black tat it scares me a little. i'm still trying to get use to it. :D

I think i look like a witch.... ok a nicer version would be Emily the Strange. Straight fringe and super black hair. haha.

It's mummy's day! I bought mummy for a makeover. After that we went to Minotti for dinner.

Finishing with lotsa desserts. Wai love the food there... it's more like his day! haha.

Went shopping after golf class today.... sigh... damage a total of 290 on golf clothes. damn. just have to console myself that i havent been shopping much lately anywaz.... haha... yaya gals and our shopping, only we understand. Well, our analogy is; even if we cant play at least we look good! haha... lao shi always say we have to have beautiful swing and final pose of the swing is impt. have to look good. so ofcos the outfit is impt rite ;p

oh and I managed to catch spidey 3 !!! :)

My arms do not belong to me this morning. I probably hit 250 balls yesterday. Almost needing to crawl home, lucky ming is so nice to send me back.

The 2 hrs lesson is far too much for cher and me, we almost died by the end of the nite.

We learnt our swing 3 and 4 yesterday. Oh man, I know my problem yet I cant correct it.... it's driving me crazy! :@ My hip is simply not pushing to the left side at the end of swing 2! how frustrating. I think I sucks.

It was a sweet Monday nite ....

It is so sweet that it leaves me lingering in a happy mood and wanting more. Just imagine... it's like a scope of my fav ice cream makes me happy for the nite and makes me yearning for more thru-out the week. It re-charges every time I taste the sweetness all over again... ...

When will I get a taste of it again? *dreamy*

My teacher (lao shi)

A long and fulfilling weekend of golf practices. I have learnt my swing 1 and 2 and have been doing that for the past 2 days. It should not be new to me but I dun seems to remb anything that I learnt before.... Just hope that this time I'm able to finish wat I started 7yrs ago.

Sat after our class, Lao Shi with his fre called us up and picked Princess pinkie and me for a drink at this very nice cosy pub. It was a nite of jokes on golf-ing from attire to some jokes on the green. Fun.

Both of us got a shocked to discover that our PC is going to be on the 25th May!! oh no............. ............ it's like only 2.5weeks away! Are we really ready? The tot is enough to scared the shit out of us....

TKSS gathering (Fri nite)

It’s old sch nite reunion nite at dragonfly.

We gathered to celebrate PL bachelor nite and at the same time for chris bday. So happy to see him doing so well and getting married now. Looking forward for his wedding next sat at Mt faber.

Spend yesterday nite at Ivan’s father’s wake. All seems too familiar except that this time I’m the one accompanying him instead.

There was some network connection error in my bro's com, so somehow he is just not receiving any signal from my wireless router. In desperation he decided to see if there's any network ard that he can tap on to just for that while. Surprisingly, all my neighbors had their network secured.

Suddenly he saw something that caught his eyes.... The network name is called "SAKAE", he tried his luck and type in the password, "sushi".

ok, my fav hang out now has got to be dragonfly! The band is fantastic, and the music is good. (we sort of given up hope with Movida. The songs they played nowadays at Movida sucks big time, not only it is like rojak, but rojak that went wrong! I cant agree more with with Ed wrote in his blog abt Movida, i think he sums it all up pretty well... )
