Best Char Siew ever tasted
I spend my first 3 days of 2009 in KL…………. Had a great time. Took the Transtar First Class coach up and gosh, it is truly luxurious!
The highlight of the trip was going to this restaurant in Jalan Imbi for their ever so famous Char Siew! I’m not a big fan of Char Siew but this is really really good that it makes me thinking abt it wanting more….. it’s so tender yet having a light crisp on the outside with thick coating of the sauce, and simply melts in your mouth. (drooling now…..). 4 of us ordered a medium, but when we wanted more, it’s all sold out! Damn should have ordered a large plate!

The other super duper good dish is the Claypot pork belly with salted fish. The pork belly is so thinly sliced that it looks like bacon! Very tasty and goes well with rice. (btw it’s Overseas Restaurant in Jalan Imbi KL. Have to call to pre-order)
(Sky Bar – Trader’s Hotel) Nice night view of KL.
Unique part of the sky bar, besides the “WOW” view, is the pool in the center surrounded by cosy seating in the platform. The sky bar is in fact open top. It doesn’t gives you an outdoor feel at all, we tot the pool was indoor in a pub, until it started to rain!
Overall the trip was fun, and ed was so tired cos he walked the whole afternoon with us… and poor him…. I dunno how he’s gonna copy with the coming BK trip. Maybe he can just sleep in the hotel :P
